Bryon McGregor

President and Chief Executive Officer

Bryon McGregor has over 35 years of executive leadership, industrial project management and finance experience. Prior to joining Alto Ingredients, Mr. McGregor developed expertise in business and project development, corporate planning, M&A, risk management and more.

  • Named CEO in 2023, Mr. McGregor, joined Alto Ingredients in 2008 as Vice President Finance/Treasurer and later appointed Chief Financial Officer in 2009. During his tenure as CFO, McGregor has led multiple financings, integrated acquisitions, strengthened the company’s balance sheet and implemented cost reduction programs. He served as Brokerage Treasurer for E*TRADE Financial, overseeing Europe and Asian treasury operations, where his responsibilities included international and U.S. brokerage treasury operations, corporate finance, and investor relations. Prior to that, as Manager, Global Head of Project Finance at BP (formerly ARCO, one of the top 10 fully integrated multi-national oil and gas companies in the world at that time), Mr. McGregor was responsible for the development of and managing investments in global industrial and infrastructure projects, including a multi-billion dollar LNG project in Indonesia, a $3 billion heavy-oil project in Venezuela, over $1 billion in regasification and  natural gas pipeline projects, and over a $1 billion in various other energy and chemical investments located both domestically and internationally. When at Credit Suisse, he developed limited-recourse financing opportunities globally in excess of $8 billion in energy, petrochemical, mining, infrastructure, telecommunications, as well as facilitated M&A for clients.

    McGregor has a BS degree in Business Management from Brigham Young University.

Mike Kandris

Director and Interim Chief Operating Officer

Mike Kandris has over 40 years of general management experience in the transportation and logistics industry. Prior to joining Alto Ingredients, Mr. Kandris was formerly President and Chief Operating Officer of Ruan Transportation Management Systems (RTMS).

  • Originally an independent contractor with a focus on Alto Ingredients operations, Mr. Kandris became a director in 2008, began serving as COO in 2013, and served as CEO from 2020 until retiring from that role in 2023. As President and Chief Operating Officer of Ruan Transportation Management Systems (RTMS), Mr Kandris gained  general management experience in the transportation and logistics industry. Additionally, Kandris served on the Executive Committee of the American Trucking Association and as a board member for the National Tank Truck Organization.

    Kandris has a BS degree in Business from California State University, Hayward.

Rob Olander

Chief Financial Officer

Rob Olander, CPA, has over 20 years of public company accounting, treasury and finance experience. Prior to joining Alto Ingredients, Mr. Olander worked in audit, assurance, consulting and business management for accounting firms both regional and an international Big 4.

  • Mr. Olander, appointed CFO in 2023, has served Alto Ingredients for over 16 years with increasing responsibility, and, most recently, as VP, Corporate Controller. He served as Controller and Business Manager at Hampton Distribution Companies and supervised audit and consulting at James Marta and Company. Mr. Olander began his career at Deloitte & Touche in audit and assurance working with ConAgra, Berkshire Hathaway and Union Pacific, among others.

    Mr. Olander has a BS in Business Administration from Midland University and is an active Certified Public Accountant in California.

Auste Graham

General Counsel and Corporate Secretary

Auste Graham has over 15 years of legal experience working across multiple industries, including chemicals, packaging, and corporate securities. Prior to joining Alto Ingredients in 2022, Ms. Graham served as Vice President, Legal, for Essentra plc, where she was responsible for all legal and compliance affairs in the Americas.

  • Prior to Essentra, Ms. Graham served as Senior Legal Counsel for AkzoNobel. She began her career at Schiff Hardin LLP, where she provided general corporate representation to public and private companies, managing mergers and acquisitions, governance and compliance matters, and corporate and securities transactions, including corporate debt and equity offerings and private equity investments.

    Ms. Graham earned her J.D from Vanderbilt University Law School and a B.A. from Vassar College.

Jim Sneed

Chief Commercial Officer

Jim Sneed has worked for over 20 years in various senior management and executive positions in the ethanol industry. Prior to joining Alto Ingredients in 2012, Mr. Sneed was Vice President – Ethanol Marketing & Trading for Hawkeye Gold, LLC.

  • Prior to that he was Vice President, Marketing & Logistics of Aventine Renewable Energy, an ethanol production and marketing company, where he helped build its operations from two ethanol plants in two states to marketing for fifteen production facilities in eight states. Mr. Sneed is a Certified Public Accountant, has a BS degree in Accounting from Olivet Nazarene University, and has an MBA from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management.
